Monday Update

Hi!!! Ok, today was a much better day for training! Sunny and cool. The snow stayed hard throughout our training time! It was a mix discipline day. SL and GS. Those are hard days to coach for me. Lots of set up and maintaining! It was good for those who took part! Nice skiing everyone. There are some that are going back to their old ways which is tough to watch. Sometimes that happens. We will have to keep working on the basics! GS is the discipline tomorrow. Should be good. Sun is in the forecast. Warm though, so the snow is going to soften up!

Sunday Update

Talk about crazy weather!!! From Sunny and warm, to rain, fog , cold , sleet, and crumbly snow. The most extreme change I have witnessed! We had to cancel the final SL session because of the bad snow conditions! Thank you everyone who took part in this weekends training. Sorry about the cancelled session! Many racers are making big strides towards fast skiing though. Great work girls and guys! Hopefully better training tomorrow!

Friday SL GS Training

First, I would like to say thank you very much for coming to train this past week. It was very busy during the week day training sessions. I am thrilled I am able to assist so many skiers help reach their individual goals! Thanks again! The snow has turned to that spring, slush condition! Please be ready for it! Hard in the morning, soft in the afternoon. We set a basic SL set and a GS course. As I said before it was busy for a week day. 14 racers. Most of them training GS. More people are asking questions which is great! Keep them coming. Looks to be good for the weekend. Around 25 racers or so. Good weather! See you tomorrow!

March 6 Update

Oh my Ge! Another Super spring day! Sunny but hard snow. Could not ask for more! Suppose to be warmer tomorrow! Trained GS. A mix of Seniors, adults and kids. Fun Group! Next years GS skis arrived. 195 cm, 35 m radius GS, and 188cm, 30 m radius GS. I tried the 195cm skis and they definitely work better on ice. They are very tricky on soft snow! Pictures of the group training GS!
